The Atlas of Small Attractions

Being a chart of six thousand affinities, surveyed by hand.

Ledger of Loops

Short — Survey
Press and drag upon the field: your hand herds drifting motes toward the surveyor's lens. Each mote counted is ink on the page.
Mid — Expedition
Deliver 120 motes before the ink dries (25s). Success redraws the next expedition's quota; failure blots the leaf and you begin the spread again.
Long — Recharting
Every completed spread tears out the old table of affinities and sets a new one in the press. Herding becomes scattering; allies become weather. Edition I — Common Press

A New Chart, Unsurveyed

Six species of mote drift in a shallow volume, each loving and loathing the others by a table no two editions share.

Your only instrument is pressure: drag across the plate and the field parts before your hand.

The surveyor — the dark lens — decides by itself what your herding means.
